When somebody searches for your website the browser will find out the server for the IP address and make contact. The server should then respond by providing the data which the browser will then provide on the visitor’s computer. So the real truth of the matter is that the website actually visits us instead of us visiting the website.

So any requests in relation to the IP address of your website should be dealt with immediately by your web hosts server as it should be ready and always online waiting. Although the reality is that almost every host will have at least some downtime. Anyone in the world can use your IP address to see your data.
